Stop slicing the driver once and for all
If you have never experienced a golf slice with your driver then there’s a very good chance you’ve never played the game of golf.
It’s still the number one problem in golf and something I see every weekend on the golf course.
It happens so easily with the driver because of the flatter lie angle of the clubhead (usually 8 – 11 degrees) which makes the margin for error very high.
The good news is you can learn how to stop slicing the driver very easily with a few simple changes to your set up and golf swing.
It’s 100% FREE and shows you how to move your club in the right positions that guarantees a better golf impact position leading to longer and straighter golf shots.
Whilst there are many ways and causes of the golf slice I am going to focus on one and offer a simple solution.
I found this great video by Rotary Swing that shows a simple way you can stop slicing the driver today.
1. The ball position must be placed at the front of the stance, usually just inside the front foot. This gives you the best chance of hitting the golf ball on the up launching the ideal flight towards the target.
2. Your centre and spine angle must remain behind the golf ball at set up and remain there right through to the impact zone. The best way to achieve this is by slightly tilting your body or raising your lead shoulder.
3. You should have enough axis tilt at address so you are able to swing from the inside on the downswing. Tilt your lead shoulder enough so the club just touches the inside of your lead thigh.
Now it’s your turn
This is a great tip to stop slicing the driver and if performed correctly will actually result in a slight draw shape with extra distance off the tee.
So the next time someone asks you how to stop slicing the driver, you should be able to help them straight away.
